Stopped in for dinner and it was amazing, so much personality here and the service was very friendly. Had the sliced chicken and rib tips and both were so delicious. Got our food in under 10 minutes and there was 4 of us! Came up here for the covered bridge festival, Rick's Smokehouse & Grill is definitely worth the stop! Notes : You order from a bar like setup, and they bring the food to your table. About like a steak and shake ordering process

Fast and friendly. Easy menu with great items. Quick service. Price is very good for the quality. Staff was friendly and quick. They answered all question about their food quickly. The restaurant is very clean with lots of decor. Presentation of food was excellent. This is an easy repeat for me. I’m looking forward to trying more food here. Easy parking and entering the building. Edit: I’ve been back and Ricks has the best pork tenderloin in town. Thick juicy and breaded just right.

What can I say? This place was great! Got to meet Rick, who offered my group a special taste of a new Bourbon batch idea he's working on. Good stuff! Had a bit of ribs, brisket, and pork. Tender and juicy! Had at least 4 different flavors of BBQ sauce available on the table; all of them were great. Tomato base but with vinegar and sugar in most. As far as I can tell it's a family run place; Rick's wife and daughter were also working. Absolutely love the memorabilia and pictues from the last at least 70 years in and around Terre Haute. Would strongly recommend.

One of my favorite places in town. Employees are nice and the food is amazing. I love the ribs, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Don’t forget the toast! I go probably 2-3 times a month.

We stopped in mid-afternoon after arriving from out of town. The pulled pork combo was delicious, and the portions were generous. We ordered mac & cheese as an extra side, which was good, but not very warm. Overall, we enjoyed everything and would return if we found ourselves in town again.

We were in the area for a college visit and Ricks did not disappoint! Everything was tender and tasty. The Carmel cookies are a must have. I didn't even share.

This was our first experience at ricks the staff was exceptional. Our daughter has a deadly peanut allergy not only did they make us feel welcomed with our questions. But they took the necessary precautions to make sure she could eat safely. A very good dinner but the staff made it 3- 5 - 25

Popped in with my sister a while back and forgot to give Nevayah and the lunch crew a shoutout for being amazing—wonderfully friendly, detailed and helpful. Generous and kind—and the food is the equivalent of smokehouse ambrosia. If I ever had ambrosia like the Percy Jackson series iteration that tastes like your favorite thing, it would taste like Rick’s Smokehouse smoked chicken and rib tips with a dollop of the staff’s star hospitality.
